My Wittle Mawile, a bonding Pokemon fic

Author's Note: This takes place JUST after Franky settled in Hoenn & after Maxie stole the Red Orb in Mt.Pyre, but i want to show off him bonding with one of his Pokemon cause i can. Also, everyone (But not the Pokemon) are addressed to their Sonic Char forms.

Lilycove City ~ 11:57 AM

Franky exit the Pokemon Center, holding onto a chocolate bar which was barely finished...He looked onward out in the distance, as the sun shined very bright at the crack of noon.

"Man oh man, wonder if-Huh!"

As if on cue, before he can even finish his sentence...He felt a heavy tug around his ankle, he looked down to his right & saw his Mawile tugging his dark furry hide.

The Mawile had a joyous grin spread across her face, her massive ponytail wagging smugly...But of course, her trainer can understand & see past her eyes.

Franky chuckled as he examined her gesture, pointing toward out of town to the west of the area...Guess she wanted to get out there & have some fun in tall grass on Route 121. "Alright Chompella, but remember to NOT gnaw on Hiker George's cart again...You remember what happened LAST time do you?"  

The Mawile named Chompella, made a nervously guilty smirk as her other mouth thumped onto the ground in embarrassment. What happened that one time, made sure Franky NEVER speak of it again to his reckless Pokemon companion.

Rolling his eyes with a light snicker, Franky kneel down & petted on Chompella's head. She giggled at her bangs getting ruffled, as he motioned his hand to pat her 'alligator' like ponytail. 

Franky then lend her his half-eaten chocolate bar. "Hungry girl?..."

Chompella nodded, making a cheerful cackle as she took the candy from her trainer, & begin scrumptiously gnawing it like a little girl sucking on a lollipop...She even ate the entire wrapper.

Franky sweatdropped, narrowing at his Mawile like she did something 'wrong'. "Goodness gravy little lady!...Uh, heh guess you do love your protein eh?..." His tail swayed ambiguously, matching his sudden mood.

After a tiny, but adorable belch, Chompella giggled once again at Franky's dull expression. She then hesitantly kept tugging his fur & grew impatient. She pointed out at the wild wanting outside.

Franky chuckled, pushing her gently to the left. "Okay OKAY girl, but remember NOT too far & keep close in my line of hearing alright?...Yell REAL loud if you need too."

Chompella nodded rapidly, skipping off into the massively tall grass with her smiling ponytail behind her. Franky smirked & fondled at her enjoyment of freedom. He looked to way over to the east & growled at the cave by the seashore.

"(That Team Magma...Scumbag you ARE Maxie...)"

He ruffled his fur coat that just stood on end, then grunted off to the Lilycove Department Store, seemingly to buy some souvenirs when he gets back to Kalos...

Route 121 ~ 12:03 PM

Chompella buried herself in the vast forest of grass, laughing & cackling like kids on a merry go round. She couldn't help but notice the vivid scent & aroma sprouting from within. She sighed lustfully, spinning around merrily with her other mouth panting like it's aroused.

"Hey hey HEY toots~!!..." Her thoughts were cut short when a voice ringed her non-existent ears. She turned over to the source of the voice, & out of the blue a Shiny Mawile had appeared. He was also wearing shades.

Chompella glared at him with a look of concern. She then huffed & turned the other way with her ponytail GNARLING at him. The male shiny gave a smugly smirk beneath his shades, with his ponytail doing the same thing. "Aw, no love for the Piranha?? Cmon work with me here Chompy-Babe!"

She growled after being called that, wanting to school him - They have met before, & this was because Franky's best friend Sora HAD this Shiny Mawile. Between the two, he was very loud & obnoxious while Chompella is the exact opposite: Quiet, & very 'somewhat' polite. She's rarely seen speaking, & almost never socializes with any other Pokemon under Franky's best friends who are trainers to them.

Back with Piranha, he approached Chompella with a wider grin. "S'matter cute stuff?? Afraid that i can whoop your tookus to the next 4 Poke-Centers?!" Chompella's frustration grew beneath her growling jaws.

Never ceasing to stop, he continued his pestering. "Yeah i know, in fact even Sora can punch a hole into your freakazoid's chest!"

THAT was the final straw to Chompella...Growling & seething, she leered her ponytail away & walloped Piranha so hard he flew out of the grass & crashed into a nearby fence. Though a tad bit dazed from the impact, he felt good. "FINALLY...Now get ready to feel the hurt!" 

He begrudgingly discarded his shades in his ponytail's maw, as he didn't want to risk breaking them. He sprouted forward, trying to smash Chompella with an Iron Head. Unfortunately to him, he hadn't realized that she equipped a new move: Flamethrower.

Reeling her other mouth with a tiny smirk, Chompella let loose a gas of blaze that pretty much scorched all of the grass. Followed by an 'OH SHI-', Piranha screamed & yelled after being engulfed by flame. "EEEEEEYOOWCH!!!"

After the deed was done, Chompella leered back & giggled savagely under her wincing bangs. She admired the aftermath, even seeing Piranha plopped down the middle all burnt & KO'd.

"Piranha??...Piranha?...Piranha were are you?..." As if on cue, a hedgehog with a robotic right arm appeared from the west of the corner. She looked about, just barely making it to the scene. Her name was Sora Wakeman.

"I heard you yelling!...What's-AIYEEEE!!" She was remotely stunned at seeing the sight before her...Her Shiny Mawile getting beaten by a regular looking one. Gulping, she breathed a sigh of relief to see Piranha is just knockout - With dizzy eyes to boot.

"What in god's name happened?!..." She then narrowed at Chompella, who merely huffed & turned her back in self-defense. Recognizing this behavior, Sora groaned back at her. "Dammit Chompella! Where the hell is Franky?!..."

Chompella never likes ANYONE giving a damn towards her trainer, so with a sweet innocent face, she pointed to the EXACT opposite of Lilycove that's behind them.

"So ALL the way at Fortree City?? But then why are YOU way over here?" Again Sora seemed confused. Chompella merely shrugged & stared at her. Sora sighed, picking up her Shiny Mawile & turning away as she took the bait. "...When i get my HANDS on that freak i'm gonna-!"

Chompella snickered quietly, not bothering to catch the rest of Sora's dismay as she steamed away flustered. With a delighted tone in her face, she waltz back to the end of the route with a spring in her step, & a deadly grin on her ponytail.

Lilycove City - Lilycove Department Store ~ 12:27 PM  

Back with Franky, he was on the 2nd floor looking over the shelves that had cutesy plushies. He grinned, admiring the handiwork & careful stitchings that were performed.

Unfortunately for him, he had to literally glare & growl at EVERY Mobian that's near him...As soon as he got inside, people have been giving him strange gawks at his appearance, whispering if he's either Zeti or an exact species of some kind. He went from saying 'Stop looking at me!' to yelling 'Get the HELL outta my way!' in less then 15 minutes which is crazy for attention spans. 

Behind him & a couple port shelves in the background, was a cyan colored minx that was observing the items as well. She was picking up the last copy of Hatsune Miku's PROJECT DIVA F that was on stock & did a victorious victory pose - A split second later, a mangled scruffy hound quickly grabbed the game from her hand & started barking while tugging back. The minx was of course fighting back in tears, screaming 'NUUUUUU!' & making everyone else uncomfortable around the floor.

Franky only looked at the commotion for a second - Then turned back grinning in relief. "(Thank GOODNESS a distraction...Whew~)"

Just then, the intercom beamed on: "To all civilians in the department, there is a Mawile in the front entrance. If you are it's trainer, please report back down to the lobby & proceed supervising it. I repeat, a Mawile in the front entrance - We'll be advised to use a containment breach if it is a wild stray, thank you."

That was enough to make Franky laugh for the first time in the entire day. "Heh-heh, guess ya had your fun Chompella~..."

Completely ignoring both the minx & the hound who are DOG-FIGHTING to scan the last copy of Hatsune Miku at the cash register, Franky ran down the stairs on all fours - Only one person saw him do it, but she gazed back at the squabble at the cash register more importantly.

As Franky got back to the lobby & through the entrance, Chompella was there waiting for him. She cackled with glee, jumping up to her hairy trainer & cradling up in his arms. 

Franky smirked, wagging his tail as he cuddled his Mawile. "Hey there Chompy, did you have fun?" She pouted briefly at him, not liked to be called that. He teased lightly, ruffling her bangs in a mess while chuckling.  

'DOH I MISSED!' 'DOH I MISSED!' Was the ringtone that Franky had to his iPhone, it rung rather soundly. Chompella couldn't resist laughter, so she went ahead & threw her jaws back n laughed. Franky smirked back at her, using his tail to reach out his iPhone & plop it onto his claws.

He answered the call. "Yo~...Hey howdy Korey, how are you shaping up? Yeah? Well i was just about to crash into Maxie's operation but sure we can go on for another match...& You BETTER be recording this time i swear!"

On the other side of the call, somewhere in Route 111 Korey rolled his eyes. "Yeah yeah whatever...I'm just heading back into Mauville City. Get here will ya?"

Franky grinned smugly, assuring his presence. "Kay~" He then hung up, & looked at Chompella's cocked expression. He chuckled, nuzzling on her pug-nose.

"Alrighty little lady, time for you to start shining!..." Chompella clapped with her face looking overjoyed at another fight. Franky unpocketed his blossoming rose, with the Mawlite attached to it's center. He stuck & tied the flower onto Chompella's stem of her massive ponytail, giving her fashioned accessory to go along with her Mega Evolution.

After bringing her in to the Pokemon Center & sorting out his PC briefly, Franky was ready to tackle his best friend & rival.

Mauville City ~ 12:49 PM

Korey was seen just at the doors to Route 118, a small beach which seemed perfect for a friendly bout. Alongside him was his female Shiny Meowstic, Theresa. They were against the wall looking badass, until Franky's arrival broke their silence. "...Hey hey HEY!" He was also accompanied by Chompella.

Korey groaned, narrowing at his best friend. "Bout TIME da ze..." He gazed at Franky, who shrugged while sweatdropping. Being a Psychic type, Theresa was able to communicate via telepathy. "(...Oh? Has the beast dragged about it's lazy frame?...)" Franky growled. "Shut up ya piss-colored cat!..." That certainly upset her. "(...How DARE you!...)"

Chompella stared at her rather angrily. She tried to resist her quaking fist, wanting to bite off that cynical attitude from her tongue. Theresa noticed, but didn't care too much. "(Mm...Looks like your not the ONLY one that was dragging...)" That sparked so much rage deep within Chompella's heart it wasn't even funny. Theresa bellowed a rare smirk from beneath her furry scarf.

Korey butted in. "Okay that's ENOUGH Theresa...Never knew your one to trash-talk, especially since your the calm one!" Theresa rolled her delicate eyes, disliking being lectured. Franky kneeled to Chompella, whispered. "(Alright Chompella...BITE her ears off if you have to!)" She grinned savagely, her ponytail thumping in excitement.

However, Theresa overheard that...Yet she decided to keep quiet as she's keeping pride to know that Chompella isn't the brightest in Franky's team, next to Coco of course.

"Well...After YOU poop-scoop~" Franky snickered darkly as Korey bat a glare at him. They all headed out of the doors & onto the seashore of the beginning route. They marked their posts, sentenced their Pokemon.

"Theresa..." Korey gestured his Shiny Meowstic to go first. She gracefully stood before Franky & Chompella, tempting the Mawile with her gorgeous figure. "(You stand ZERO chance against my powerful mind, old rag.)"

Chompella fumed. Franky patted & eased her anger. "S'okay little lady...Don't let her mix your feelings, do what you do best." He gestured her to go next, in which Chompella soared up in the sky into the sun ray.

Korey sighed, JUST noticing the rose on her head having her Mega Stone...He looked at Franky, who just activated his Mega Bracelet attached to his tail. After a brilliant let of pinkish-aura, Chompella came crashing down now a Mega Mawile.

The impact was enough to send Theresa a couple feet, but stood unphased. "(Tsk...Brains triumphs over brawn.)" Chompella growled, channeling her aggression with her two alligator ponytails, which roared as they defected Theresa's hearing. "(N-Ngggh!...)"

& For the first time in Hoenn, Chompella finally spoke...Even Franky can hear her by heart.
